Description
Angelo 4ply is made from baby alpaca, silk and cashmere, so it’s extremely soft. I have dyed this yarn in several semi-solid colourways and it would really great for shawls. In fact I am currently crocheting a sample of the Loft, by my talented friend Fay Dashper Hughes. This yarn is also available as a Lace yarn in the same shades.
A couple of things to bear in mind about hand dyed yarn:
- No two skeins are ever the same, even if they have been dyed in the same pot. I recommend you knit with two skeins and alternate every other row for consistency on larger projects.
- Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure colour-fastness, there is a chance that some residual dye may remain (this is normal – think jeans…) I suggest hand washing all garments in cool water prior to being worn and keep bright colours separate.
