Description
Angelo lace is made from baby alpaca, silk and cashmere, so it’s extremely soft. I have dyed this yarn in several semi-solid colourways, and it can be used on it’s own or I am currently writing a pattern that uses this lace combined with Mulberino 50 4ply. The pattern will be available in the coming months. This yarn is also available as a 4ply in the same shades.
I dye all of these colours regularly, but if the colour you want is showing as out of stock can order it here and I will dye it for you at no extra cost. There is a minimum of 2 skeins per colour. Alternatively you can join the waitlist to receive an email when it’s back in stock.
A couple of things to bear in mind about hand dyed yarn:
- No two skeins are ever the same, even if they have been dyed in the same pot. I recommend you knit with two skeins and alternate every other row for consistency on larger projects.
- Whilst every effort has been taken to ensure colour-fastness, there is a chance that some residual dye may remain (this is normal – think jeans…) I suggest hand washing all garments in cool water prior to being worn and keep bright colours separate.
