Apologies for the lack of posts – I have been on holiday for 2 weeks and we had no internet access! It felt very strange – like a trip in a time machine and it is amazing how reliant we have become – primarily on my iphone, but also email and facebook. Anyway, after a couple of days of feeling fidgety, we finally managed to relax into quite literally doing nothing. Well nothing except for keeping my 16 month old son amused. I now know why so many of my friends have told me that you never really have a holiday once you have children, you simply relocate the entertainment. Thankfully he loved being 2000ft up a mountain in Spain, with glorious sunshine and a pool to cool off in.
also managed to get some crochet done, although not as much as I had hoped – mainly because I didn’t take enough yarn with me! However, I am more than half way through my latest project – a short sleeved jumper that I am making up the pattern for so I will be able to post it here and on my site. Pictures to follow once completed.
So, to Luxury Yarns – things are moving slowly. My advert came out in Knitting Magazine, and I have received a few orders as a result of it. I have also had a few orders from Ravelry too which is encouraging. Today I also had my first email back from a customer telling me how much she loved my silks 🙂 Of course she did, but it’s great to see that someone else thinks they are as great as I do. I also have reviews coming up in Knitting over the next few months as the editor also loves the yarns, so I will post a link as and when.
Happy Knitting x
