silks arrived on Monday which for me is a massive milestone. I have still managed to do this without increasing my start-up budget, which means that second orders are a sign that things are working.

This order also contains some fantastic new colours: Queen Silk Lace now has an additional colour mix of purples, and also 4 solid colours, 2 different pinks a dark blue and a purple. I am still waiting for Gold but that will follow shortly, along with more of the multicoloured yarn which has proven to be one of my most popular. Contessa Silk DK has two new exciting colour mixes, one of which is a fabulous 5 colour striped yarn, and I also have each of the colours as solid colour yarns as well. As I now have 20 different Contessa yarns I am splitting them into different products – Contessa Silk DK solid and Contessa Silk DK mixed. I am hoping that these yarns will make a great combination and I am going to offer them as sets  – with 400g of a solid colour with 100g of the colour stripe yarn. I think I will reserve these special offers until the new site launches – hopefully in the next few weeks…
